email是職場最主要且不可取代的工具,目前全球約有三億個信箱用戶,帳號至少有五億個。舉凡主管與下屬任務交辦、公司跟客戶業務往來,email搭起橋樑,有條理的白紙黑字簡化溝通,提升工作效率,信件寫得好便能事半功倍,建立雙方互信的基石,要在成堆的信海中脫穎而出,並且得到回覆更是一門學問。在按下寄出鍵之前,花一分鐘的時間檢查以下「該」與「不該」。 DOS use simple English用簡單易懂的單字 minimize questions一次溝通一個問題 put spaces between paragraphs一目了然的段落 use separate business and personal email addresses公、私帳號分明 proofread校對 DON’TS vague words含糊的字眼 misspelled names拼錯名字可是大忌 replying to all寄給不相關的人 don’t write emails when you’re angry氣頭上寫信 passive voice缺乏主導權 punctuate poorly標點符號亂用
