| S: | So, this is your first Chinese New Year in Asia, right? |
| A: | Yeah! But I'm going to Bali for our week off. I guess I'll miss most of the excitement. |
| S: | You can still get into the holiday spirit in the weeks beforehand. Have you heard of Dihua Street? |
| A: | I think I went there once to buy some fabric. |
| S: | Yep, that's the place. A few weeks before Chinese New Year, it'll turn into one giant street market full of edible Chinese New Year goodies that people snap up by the bagful. |
| A: | Seems a bit like a Christmas market back home. Are there crafts, too? |
| S: | It's mostly traditional Lunar New Year snacks and gifts. The vendors let you sample everything: nuts, candy, dried seafood, pastries, drinks . . . |
| A: | Sounds like my kind of fun! I can buy snacks for my vacation. |
| S: | I always get enough to squirrel away for months ahead! |

| 山姆： | 對，就是那個地方。在春節前幾個星期，整條街會變成一個大市場，滿滿都是可食用的年貨，大家會成袋地搶購。 |

| 山姆： | 大部分是傳統的春節零食和禮品。小販們會讓你試吃每樣東西：堅果、糖果、海鮮乾貨、糕點、飲品…… |
